24-6640 How to Plan for my Digital Wellbeing
  1. How to Plan for my Digital Wellbeing - November 28th,4-5 PM 2024

We are living in an era of mass distraction. While technology, screens and mobile phones have brought about huge transformation and made many things easy and accessible, they are also challenging our concentration, wellbeing and lifestyles in critical and at times alarming ways. An analysis of trends in mobile phone usage reported by RTE from a study done by App Annie in January 2022 found that people spend close to a third of their waking hours using their phones! Nobody gets up in the morning with the objective of spending 5 hours a day on their phone and yet it happens. Digital applications can be a great force for good in our lives but they also have a downside that needs to be managed.

The session will give participants insights on the trends in terms of phone and screen usage and it will also show the cost of this and share ideas on how to transform your usage to support and add to your health, wellbeing, growth and life.
