Sensory Processing Issues Associated with Autism
This seminar will detail the sensory impairments that can affect up to 90% of autistic children. It will help participants to identify behaviours in the classroom that may be a result of sensory processing problems.
Once we understand how sensory processing issues can affect a child's behaviour and ability to learn, lots of examples of activities to help to regulate sensory systems will be given with practical ways to adapt them into your daily schedules and classroom.
This course is delivered by SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher Ms. Libby Conroy (Masters. Ed. Specialising in ASD and SEN).
