Online training course for Primary and Post-Primary Teachers and SNAs.

Session Overview:

This 2 hour session aims to provide the knowledge and insight into our evidence-informed ABLE model. It also demonstrates how talking with someone can impact positively on the wellbeing of yourself and others.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Gain an understanding of the relevance of adopting a relationship-based approach.
  • Gain insight into the value and impact of active listening in the school.
  • Gain awareness of self-care and how it links to personal wellbeing.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Develop your reflective capacity.
  • Introduction to using the ABLE Model (Adopt a relational approach, Build & Boundary, Listen and Empower).
  • Active Listening.
