Webinar - Distance learning for pupils with Special Educational Needs (Primary)

This webinar will explore Department of Education and Skills guidelines and strategies to support students with special educational needs through distance learning platforms in the event of unexpected school closures.
Geraldine O Loughlin, Principal of Scoil Mhuire Náisiunta, Corofin, Co Clare. She has a graduate Diploma and a Masters of Education in the area of Special Education. She is currently on secondment with the National Council for Special Education, (NCSE) working as a member of the Primary Inclusion Team.
Marie Ryan, Principal of Birdhill National School, in County Tipperary. Marie has a strong background in Special Education, including a Master’s Degree in Special Education, 8 years as S.E.T., and 12 years’ experience in St Vincent’s Special School, Lisnagry. Currently on secondment with the National Council for Special Education, (NCSE), working with the Primary Curriculum Team for Special Schools.
