  • Understanding Communication issues associated with Autism and how we can adapt a classroom to include children with language limitations.
  • Adapting the curriculum and structuring the classroom environment to help reduce anxiety and inappropriate behaviour.
  • Learn to record data to help find patterns in behaviours and how to use this information to try and limit challenges in the classroom.
  • The importance of inclusion and a positive approach when working with autistic children.

This course is delivered by SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher Ms. Libby Conroy (Masters. Ed. Specialising in ASD and SEN). Libby has over 12 years’ experience in this area of education and through this has gathered a wealth of practical, hands on skills that can be adapted to any special needs setting.

Libby is passionate about encouraging an understanding and positive approach to students on the spectrum.
