Online workshop for Primary and Post-Primary teachers.
CESC in collaboration with The Social and Health Education Project (SHEP).
When we teach, we teach who we are as much as we teach content and skills. Our presence becomes the message. When we are challenged by situations of change, conflict, or the uncertainty of the unknown, it is not so easy to be present or to be as inspired as we would like to be.
The Personal Leadership process offers practices that help us to transcend habitual reactions and to create the space we need to freely discern and choose how we want to be and how we want to respond.
In this introduction to Personal Leadership, you’ll learn about the practice and have the opportunity to reflect and explore applying it to challenges in your own life, creating space for yourself to be, and act from, who you are at the heart of your deepest inspiration, who you are at your highest and best.
Maureen Lancaster, Ed.D. is a senior facilitator of Personal Leadership and an adult educator with experience in third level and community education. She is also a practitioner in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
