Webinar 1 - Monday 4th October - 4.30pm to 5.30pm
In this webinar participants will learn to: access G Suite from their work G Mail account or via certain school administrative systems; identify the main features of G Suite for Education, create folders and docs with clear labelling in Google Drive, access files using the live search feature, share folders and docs with colleagues/stakeholders
Webinar 2 - Monday 11th October - 4.30pm to 5.30pm
In this webinar participants will learn to set up Shared Drives within Google Drive, explore the security features available when sharing a shared drive/folder/doc., investigate how to use Docs to work live and collaboratively.
Webinar 3 - Monday 18th October - 4.30pm to 5.30pm
In this webinar participants will learn to access the Admin feature in the Google waffle, create users/groups/organisational groups for varying user groups, how to restrict different user groups accessing certain apps, how to access 24 hour live Google Support, how to delete users, how to restrict users to a certain data storage limit.
Martin Hanly graduated from St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra in 2001. He has taught in a variety of settings from urban to rural, private to public and advantaged to disadvantaged. Martin graduated with a Masters of Education in 2010. He has facilitated PDST Technology in Education summer courses for the past 5 years.
