Restorative Practices Skills for Promoting Wellbeing in Classrooms and Schools

THIS YEAR'S SUMMER COURSE RUNS FROM TUESDAY TO SATURDAY JULY 5TH INCLUSIVE, due to Department Regulations on summer course commencement dates.

Restorative Practices (RP) are both a philosophy and a set of skills that have the core aim of building strong relationships and transforming conflict in a simple and emotionally healthy manner. 

This Course Will:

• Provide participants with knowledge and understanding of the use of Restorative Practices (RP) in schools for the promotion and maintenance of wellbeing among students and staff.
• Skill participants to use RP to support their teaching practice.
• Skill participants to use RP to support their work and life outside the classroom.
• The language and processes practiced throughout the week will enable teachers to gain skills identified as national priorities i.e. skills for School Self-Evaluation (SSE) and that support teachers to impart SPHE related skills (including competencies in dealing with bullying and development of child well-being).

All of our Summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable. 

Course fees cannot be transferred to another teacher. 

Unfortunately, if you wish to cancel your place or you are unable to attend the course, we are not in a position to refund fees.

In the event that the minimum number of participants required do not apply then the Centre will be obliged to cancel the course and all monies will be refunded in full.
