Creating Active and Engaging Literacy Learning Environments: 3^rd to 6^th class

Monday July 4^th to Friday July 8^th inclusive 9.30am to 2.00pm

This course aims to enhance participant knowledge of effective literacy instruction. The focus will be on an exploration of literacy development and practical approaches and resources for teaching in 3^rd to 6^th class. Support will be provided in a number of key areas, including reading for pleasure, robust vocabulary instruction, active reading lessons, genre writing and effective use of ICT.

Before you finalise payment for your course, please note the following:

• All of our Summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable. 
• Course fees cannot be transferred to another teacher. 
• Unfortunately, if you wish to cancel your place or you are unable to attend the course, we are not in a position to refund fees.

 In the event that the minimum number of participants required do not apply then the Centre will be obliged to cancel the course and all monies will be refunded in full.
