Creating Active and Engaging Literacy Learning Environments: 3rd to 6th class
Monday July 4th to Friday July 8th inclusive 9.30am to 2.00pm
This course aims to enhance participant knowledge of effective literacy instruction. The focus will be on an exploration of literacy development and practical approaches and resources for teaching in 3rd to 6th class. Support will be provided in a number of key areas, including reading for pleasure, robust vocabulary instruction, active reading lessons, genre writing and effective use of ICT.
