Teacher Self-Care: Nurturing Positive Relationships & Navigating Conflict
On a daily basis, teachers connect not only with their students, but with colleagues, management, parents and others in the school community. Creating positive, supportive relationships in the school environment is a key aspect of well-being, so feeling equipped on a personal level with ways to nurture these positive relationships is vital. This includes understanding and utilising positive communication skills and having constructive ways to navigate conflicts that may inevitably arise too.
This session will outline the importance of positive relationships & provide participants with skills to nurture them and deal with interpersonal conflict.
Suitable for primary & post-primary teachers
