To support schools in the area of Child Protection and Safeguarding we are running refresher training for Designated Liaison Persons (DLP) and Deputy DLPs.
In this interactive 2-hour session, we will review the role of the DLP/DDLP in reporting concerns, record keeping and Child Protection Oversight Reporting through the use of case studies.  These sessions are ideally suited for DLPs/DDLPs who have undertaken initial Child Protection training and would like a refresher in this area.

THIS IS A REPEAT OF THE WEBINAR HELD ON 5th September 2024.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Participants will enhance their ability to identify various signs and indicators of child abuse and neglect.
  2. Participants will improve their skills in accurately and comprehensively documenting child protection concerns.
  3. Participants will strengthen their competence in the correct procedures for reporting child protection concerns to relevant authorities and ensuring timely intervention.
