The Role of the Year Head – Towards a Team Approach

Tutor: Harry Freeman - Harry is an independent education consultant who provides CPD on leadership, Learning and Teaching and Positive Behaviour Management to school staffs across Ireland.

Target Group:  Teachers who currently hold or aspire to positions of leadership in post-primary schools.

 

 

The course will:

  • Support the year head team in defining and establishing a definition and vision for the role
  • Introduce a range of template administration/support files
  • Enable year heads to  support the wellbeing, learning and behaviour of the year group,
  • Discuss the role of the year head in supporting colleagues
