'Employee morale’ describes the overall perspective, satisfaction, confidence and attitudes people feel in their work. When people feel good about their work environment and believe they can meet their most important career needs and goals, morale is strong.  When they don't, staff morale is adversely affected. The world and life has become increasingly stressful since 2020.  The operating environment is affecting morale in many organisations.  Some factors are within our control and many more are not.   The programme will offer insights and strategies to boost staff morale in the current context.  

How to boost staff morale  

This program is designed to help you create a staffroom and school environment with strong positive morale. The session will cover: 

  • The core components of strong staff morale 
  • Common challenges that adversely impact staff morale in the current context 
  • Understanding, overcoming and preventing burnout 
  • Mindfulness and resilience 
  • The role work plays in meeting our basic human needs

  • Communications and other actionable strategies to build strong morale for individuals and teams 
  • Strategies to overcome challenges to strong morale 
  • Building engagement and connection 
  • Boosting morale - from staff room to classroom and back 
  • What can we (I) do to influence Morale now? Action Plan
