24-7052-AUT- Community of Practice for Autism Class Teachers
Community of Practice for Autism Class Teachers
- Are you looking for ongoing support in teaching and learning in an Autism class?
- Are you new to an Autism class and looking for advice and support?
- Are you an experienced Autism class teacher looking to discuss and share Neuroaffirmative practice?
- Would you like to be part of a community of teachers of Autism classes?
This Community of Practice (CoP) will facilitate teachers in an Autism class to come together to discuss and share their practice, with direct support from Anne Collins, a primary teacher with nearly 20 years experience in a special class setting and regular facilitator of CPD in Autism. There is so much information and professional development on Autism available for teachers it can often feel overwhelming to navigate all the recommendations and best practice and apply it to our own context and classrooms. This CoP will provide ongoing support for teachers to focus on their own practice and problem solve in a collaborative way with other teachers in a professional learning environment so that they may return to their classroom full of renewed energy and enthusiasm in their role.
This CoP will take place in the Cork Education Support Centre
